Suwarakshana Wedamadura was established in 1998 as a joint venture. In 2000, the joint venture was dissolved, and it developed into a single-owner establishment at No. 7, Mahamaya Mawatha, Kandy.

Services were provided to both foreign travelers and locals. Panchakarma treatments initially began with food and accommodation facilities in a guest house next door. In 2005, an Ayu-cure center was established for Panchakarma treatments with food and accommodation facilities at No. 41, Pilimathalawa Gardens. This is 4 km away from the famous Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya and is our current center of operations. This establishment offers a homely atmosphere in the countryside with a green view, comfortable rooms, hot and cold water, traditional Ayurveda foods prepared using traditional methods, special attention from a residential doctor, personal care from the time you are picked up from the airport, and free tours according to your treatment packages.
